PARRETT, Barry
Barry G Parrett, 62, of Springfield, passed away on September 29th, 2023. Born on February 5th, 1961, in Springfield OH, he was the son of the late Rod and Dorothy Parrett. Barry dedicated his life to service, both in the United States Air Force and during his civilian career, where he served for more than 30 years in civil engineering with the 178th.
Alongside his beloved wife Teresa, Barry co-founded the Right Path Outreach Ministries, dedicating 35 years to making a positive impact in the lives of others. His commitment to helping those in need was truly remarkable.
Barry had a zest for life, expressed through his love for travel and camping. He cherished every moment spent exploring new places and making memories with his family.
Barry leaves behind a legacy of love and family. He is survived by his devoted wife Teresa of 30 years, their children: Heather (T.J.), Tracy, Joshua (Danielle), Kyle (Kelsy), and Cassandra (Dauntae’); and 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren who were the light of his life: Patience (Tyler), Madison, William, Jacob, Gabriella, Dejuan, Joe, Morgan, Harmonie, Aydian, Kaylynn, Elizabeth, Barry, Berkelee and Kylie; and great-grandchildren: Issac and Tinsley.
In addition to his immediate family, Barry is also remembered by his brothers Tim (Barbara) Parrett and Tom Parrett, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Bob.
