MENDENHALL, Thomas E.

Drowned  Monday 7-21-80  in Springfield at age 19. Born 2-10-61, son of George E. and Mary C. (Tincher) Mendenhall.  He was a boiler technician Fireman apprentice in the US Navy and had been in service for approximately 1 year.  He was attached to the USS Stein, San Diego, CA.  He was formerly employed by the O.S. Kelly Co. and a member of Navy Club Ship #13.
