SNAP SLAVERY (snapslavery.org)
is a charitable initiative helping to snap (break) the chains of enslavement by campaigning against the following coercive cultural and religious practices that enslave many people in countries against slavery:
  • coercive female genital mutilation (FGM)
  • coercive behaviour and dress codes such as face veils that isolate people from engagement with the wider community
  • coercive religious courts/councils (with rulings contrary to national laws and human rights)
  • coercive religious enslavement (denying the human right to change religion or have no religion)
The above coercive cultural and religious practices enslave many people as they prevent them flourishing to their full potential. This initiative upholds the flourishing of all people to their full potential without being unduly enslaved by coercive cultural and religious practices that break human rights and national laws. This initiative supports tolerance but not tolerance of the indefensible.

Do you agree that it is important to snap (break) the chains of coercive cultural and religious practices that enslave people?

As well as sharing snaps (photos) ourselves to campaign against coercive cultural and religious practices that enslave people, we also invite you to likewise Facebook share your own snaps (photos) alongside one of the following cut and paste messages:
  • SHARE THIS SNAP to help snap (break) chains of enslavement: snapslavery.org
  • SHARE THESE SNAPS to help snap (break) chains of enslavement: snapslavery.org
Please share our petition calling on politicians to change the law to stop tolerating all forms of enslavement.
