Heart Pavlova

Strawberry Valentine's Day Pavlova


  • 3 large Egg Whites
  • 1 tablespoon Cornflour
  • 1 teaspoon White Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
  • 4 tablespoons Boiling Water
  • 350g/12oz Sugar
    To decorate
  • 300ml/1/2 pint Cream
  • Tin of strawberries or fresh strawberries 

    The How to Bit:

  1. Put all the ingredients into a bowl and beat until thick. 
  2. Shape meringue into a heart on baking parchment or for a neater look pipe it 
  3.  Bake in a preheated oven at 120°C/250°F/Gas Mark 1/2 for 1 hour. 
  4. Reduce heat to 110°C/225°F/Gas Mark 1/4 for a further 30 minutes
  5. Allow to cool. Place on serving plate and fill with whipped cream and Strawberries with a strawberry sauce.
