  • Week of December 2nd
We hope that you all had a very blessed Thanksgiving week. As we head into the new week we will begin our advent celebrations.  During Advent it is a time to prepare our hearts and mind for the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.

We will continue with our review of addition and subtraction with regrouping and carrying in the 3rd grade class. The 4th graders will continue their introduction to long division.

In reading the classes will be beginning new stories. The 3rd graders will be reading 'Little Grunt and the Big Egg'. Their vocabulary words can be found in this weeks homework packet. The 4th graders are reading 'The Garden of Happiness' Their vocabulary words can also be found in this weeks homework packet.

We have added a spelling list section on to our website.  We hope this helps as some of the students have been confused of what words to study at home. They will also have a photocopy of their words to bring home.

Science: We will be talking about their individual science fair projects and starting their research.

    Have a great week.

Los alumnos de 3er grado leerán 'Little Grunt and the Big Egg'.
