Smoked Shrimp


2 lbs. Jumbo Shrimp, shells on

Coarse Salt & Ground pepper to taste

Penzey’s Italian Blend herbs

Juice of one lemon

A few turns of olive oil, 3 to 4 TBS.


Let shrimp marinate a couple of hours.

Preheat smoker to 225 deg. Smoke shrimp for 30 to 35 minutes. Do not overcook. I think the jumbo shrimp work best, if you use smaller shrimp cut down on the time.

I did a cold smoke on mine using Smok’n Spices Mediterranean Spice pellets in their RSI, reusable smoke, infuser. I did them for 15 minutes then started the smoker & went to 225 deg. after 35 minutes the shrimp were done & tasted great.
