Don’s Cheesey  Meatloaf


1 ½ lbs. ground beef

½ lb. pork sausage

1 cup shredded cheddar or cheese of choice

1 med. Onion chopped

1 bell pepper chopped, I used ½ red & ½ yellow
3 TBS. worcestershire sauce

1 egg

¾ cup sour cream

1 cup crushed crackers

Seasoned salt, Lawry’s, garlic powder, & pepper to taste


Mix all together well & shape into a loaf. Place in the smoker at 250 to 325 deg & cook until internal temp is 150 deg. I placed mine on a porcelain pizza pan & took about 1 ¾ hours. Add your favorite BBQ sauce for a glaze near the end of the cook. Tent with foil & let rest 5 to 10 min. before slicing.
