Apple Butter Sauce for Chicken


2 cups apple butter

4 Tbs. yellow mustard

4 Tbs. butter

1 Tbs. brown sugar

1 Tbs. molasses

1 med. onion small dice

2 tsp. celery seed

Salt & pepper (optional)


Mix all together in a sauce pan, bring to a boil then simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Let cool then store in the fridge. This is plenty to marinade 2 chickens & brush on while cooking & some left to serve with the chicken.
