I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Ecole des Mines de Douai, within the computer science and automatic research department.
Previously, i used to be an assistant professor (Attaché Temporaire de l'Enseignement et de Recherche) at Nantes University Institute of Technology (IUT de Nantes).
Before that, i was a PhD student at Polytech Nantes, graduate school of engineering. I defended my PhD thesis on November, 2013 entitled: Fusion strategies of audio and handwritten signals - applied on mathematical expressions recognition.
Since October 2010, i have been a member of the Images and Video Communications (IVC) team within the "Insitut de Recherche en Communications et Cybernétique de Nantes" (IRCCyN) laboratory. I am involved in Document Analysis and Handwriting Recognition research group and mainly working on graphical languages recognition in bi-modal context including speech and handwriting.
