The 2013 Small Layout Design Meet appears to have been a success! Thanks to all that participated and helped make the meet a success. We also want to thank the Northwest Ohio Railroad Preservation Museum for their support. The museum operated their coal-fired quarter-scale steam locomotive all day. Almost everyone was able to find time to enjoy a few laps around the facilities.

Many modelers joined us to make the meet very diverse and fun for all. Feedback among the participants was very positive and the first question was, are we doing this again next year? The short answer is YES! More news will come as the details are worked out.

To encourage more group participation, the meet centered on items that people brought. Each participant had an opportunity to describe to the group a quick bio on themselves, their items(s) and what motivated them. This also allowed everyone the opportunity to step away from their own display and participate in the discussions.

The following are some photos from the 2013 Small Layout Design Meet.

Apologies to anyone we did not get photos of (also some photos did not turn out). Most of the photos above were taken with an iPhone which could not do justice to the hard work and level of quality people have put into their work.
