Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts Appetizer

  • 2 cans of whole water chestnuts
  • 1 package of bacon, cut into halves
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

Preparation Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Rinse and drain the water chestnuts. In a small bowl, soak them in soy sauce for an hour.

Slice the bacon strips in half. Wrap each water chestnut in a half piece of bacon, securing with a toothpick.

Arrange on a foil lined rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 30-40 minutes, checking regularly to make sure they don't burn.
