We are the Special Libraries Association's The Catholic University of America Student Chapter (SLA/CUA).


We provide students interested in special librarianship with:

  • Opportunities to meet librarians in the field
  • Firsthand knowledge of special libraries through field trips and lectures
  • Career preparation to enter the workforce, or gain new skills
  • Interaction with fellow students

CUA/SLA hosted Bruce Rosenstein on March 25, 2017 for a special lecture on
"How to Find Your First Professional Special Libraries Job."

CUA/SLA went to NYC on November 5, 2016! We toured the Jerome Robbins Dance Library and the New York Society Library. Pictures and reflections from the trip coming soon!
