Letters of Recommendation

As a clinical social worker, I worked with Molly Browning on a multidisciplinary team for 15 years.  We were both employed by the Gwinnett County Public Schools in a center-based program for students with severe physical and/or cognitive impairments.

I had many opportunities to observe Molly’s skills as a speech and language therapist.  We also participated together in planning meetings, along with parents and other professionals, to establish educational and therapeutic goals for students we served.

Molly is very dedicated to her profession and cares deeply about her students/clients.  She makes great strides during therapy and parents are always been appreciative of the special way she interacts with their children as well as therapy outcomes.

Molly’s background and expertise with a very diverse and challenging student population prepares her for ongoing success in her chosen field.

I collaborated with Molly Browning for several years in the Gwinnett County School System. We were IEP team members for special education students with various needs at our assigned school. I had the opportunity to observe her therapy sessions as well as to consult with her on many occasions to develop individualized goals for our shared students. Her experience has allowed her the opportunity to work with numerous disabilities leading to a broad knowledge base. Molly possesses the qualities needed to be an excellent speech and language therapist- kind, patient, and student focused. She is a dedicated therapist and an asset to her field.

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Molly Browning. I had the pleasure of working with Molly several years ago in the Gwinnett County Early Childhood Preschool Program, and through first hand observation, I can honestly say that I hold her in the highest esteem both personally and professionally.

Molly demonstrates the exceptional intellectual ability required to understand and apply the skills necessary for working with many types of students. She also demonstrates the compassion necessary for teaching and for relating to parents.

In the several years that I have interacted with Molly, I have found her to be a polite, responsible, sincere, and an all-around well thought-of person. Her self-motivation and keen desire to stay current with concern to speech and language practices are to be commended.

It is my great pleasure to know Molly and I give her my highest recommendation.

Mary Lane Harris
Early Childhood Diagnostician

I have had the pleasant opportunity to work closely with Molly Browning for the past year and a half during her employment at Simpson Elementary School.  Her responsibilities include providing direct therapy to communication impaired kindergarten through fifth grade students along with consultative services to classroom teachers and parents.  Her duties also include diagnostician for the speech and language department along with scheduling and conducting initial and annual review IEP meetings.  During the course of her employment, Molly has shown herself to be a team player, a kind and sincere individual, and an ideal co-worker.

I am quite impressed with Molly's expertise in the area of Alternative and Assistive Technology.  Many of the special education students at Simpson require the use of an AAT device and Molly spends the time evaluating and researching the right device for each individual.

Overall, Molly is a very conscientious and able employee.  I have known her personally and professionally for one and a half years and I highly recommend Molly as a speech/language pathologist.
