Pluralism and Language Learning

Welcome to the TESL SK (Teaching English as a Subsequent Language in Saskatchewan)/ SK TEAL (Saskatchewan Teachers of English as an Additional Language) Annual Conference website!  SK TEAL is a professional Saskatchewan Teachers Federation (STF) Special Subject Council comprised of K-12 Teachers of English as an Additional Language and other interested people. TESL SK is a professional non-profit organization that supports Teaching English as a Subsequent Language for both children and adult learners. As there has been a substantial increase in the number of newcomers to the province, we hope to continue to work together with all agencies in supporting English Language Learners in Saskatchewan in order to provide the most professional, well-informed language training possible.

We hope that you will visit this site often to watch for updates, and become as excited about the upcoming conference as the conference planning committee is.  As you can see, there are links on the side of this page to the information you need to know for the conference.  If you have any questions or suggestions for the planning committee, please feel free to email us at
