Inventive Minds
Max has been an amazing creator to work with in Second Life. He has built a very special, charming installation called “Inventive Minds” that connects my sim, Inspiration Island, with the Lemelson Center for Invention and Innovation at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C.  He has provided me with a sophisticated, unusual security system (it has a drone!) for my sim that is very effective. It gives the many avatars who offer programs on the sim a strong sense of security. He is always thinking of new ideas to improve the effectiveness of our nonprofit Ageless Mind Project. So many of our most valuable creations on the sim have been made by Max. He is very dependable and brings in projects on time. I highly recommend him.  Click on the pictures to teleport. |

Furniture and Lighting
Max's knowledge base is amazing. I am the type of person who finds
herself with many little quandries at once, rather than just a single
issue. Each time I came to Max for assistance, he was patient,
understanding of the dilemma and was almost always able to provide me
with several alternate possibilities. For the few he couldn't
immediately answer, he took the time to find the answer, and if it

VSTE Island
Maximillian Merlin has helped me on many occasions. Once I sent an IM to the ISTE group looking for a script I couldn't find when building our educational island at VSTE. We needed text spoken only to the avatar who clicked on info buttons so we didn't spam the chat channel. Max came to my aid, interviewed me about what I needed to be sure he understood, and created it for me to test. It was perfect. Another time I needed a skybox for a one hour meeting. I wanted it to look like Mali, a country in West Africa. Not only did Max put something together for me but he worked with my Malian speaker to get the details correct. Max is a great friend. Medaillon
Ich wollte ein besonderes Geschenk, für meinen SL Schatz anfertigen lassen. Ein Herz-Medallion welches aufklapbar ist und wo 2 Fotos von mir und meinem Schatz drin sind. Etwas besonderes. Lange hatte ich nach jemanden gesucht der so etwas anfertigen kann. Einige versuchten es,aber scheiterten. Dann traf ich auf Maximillian Merlin.Er konnte meine Vorstellungen 1:1 umsetzen. Vom Anfang der Planung,bis zur Fertigstellung klappte alles reibungslos die Kommunikation war 1a.Nun hat mein Schatzi ein schönes Medallion. PAHfest Motown
As part of our Project Accessible
Hollywood project that was sponsored by Christopher R. Coppola and
Madonna University, we decided to bring a Second Life element into our
festival. We enlisted the assistance of Second Life builder and scripter, Maximillian Merlin to assist. We were very pleased not only with the outcome of the project but in the professional manor Mr. Merlin executed the project. Custom Particle Statue, Doorstep
Maximillian Merlin build me an particle statue, an statue of me. I love that statue, it looks so alive. He also come an visited my office, my doorstep said hello in many languages. He told me, that the doorstep should remember people for less spam, and he scripted me an new doorstep, that also gave things to people. Thanks for all help Max. Chastityno Weston |
