Overview

Welcome to the official site for Special Lectures for SKKU physics 2016 (PHYS4015)!

For this summer, we will hold the special lectures titled as 'Recent Discoveries in Particle and Astroparticle Physics'.
The lecture series will discuss recent progress in Particle Physics and Astroparticle Physics. The lecture will highlight active research areas and recent discoveries including gravitational waves, Higgs Boson, and high energy astrophysical neutrinos. Experts from various research areas will talk about latest results and the impact to the field. Basic physics concepts necessary to understand to understand the research will be reviewed along the way. Experts will not only review results but also share their enthusiasm for research and explain the broader impacts of their work.

Students taking the class for credit are required to register. Other students are welcome to join for the lectures.

We are looking forward to seeing you in SKKU.
