I am a former scientist, who studied cognitive psychology and neuroscience. I was particularly interested in semantic memory, or the meaning in language.

Now I work in science policy, as a AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow at the National Science Foundation.  As a member of the Computer & Information Science & Engineering directorate, I use my skills and background to support programs that fund the most cutting edge computational neuroscience in the US.

I earned my undergraduate degree at Frostburg State University in western Maryland.  My PhD was in psychology, with a specialization in neuroscience, at Temple University in Philadelphia.
