2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup Dutch process cocoa powder
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, at room temperature
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla (I'd try half hazelnut extract next time)
1/2 cup Nutella
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (I used a combination of white and milk chocolate)
Preheat oven to 350º. Line baking sheets with parchment and set aside.
Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and mix till combined. Stir in vanilla, then Nutella. Add dry ingredients and mix till combined. Mix in chocolate chips.
Scoop by rounded tablespoons onto baking sheets. Flatten slightly and reshape into rounds if needed. Bake 10-12 minutes. Allow to cool on baking sheets.
Makes about 3 dozen.
