Adapted from Kraft's original Fantasy Fudge

3 cups sugar

3/4 cup butter (1 1/2 sticks)

2/3 cup evaporated milk

12 ounce package semi-sweet chocolate chips

7 ounce jar Kraft Marshmallow creme

1 teaspoon vanilla

Combine sugar, butter and milk in a heavy saucepan.Bring to boil.  I cover with a lid for about a minute to make sure all the sugar is dissolved...remove lid and insert candy thermometer into liquid.  Continue boiling for approximately 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring frequently till thermometer reaches 234º.  Remove from heat, stir in chocolate till melted. Add marshmallow creme and vanilla and stir till blended. 

Pour into greased 8 x 8 inch baking pan. Let cool and cut into squares.
