5 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup Heath Bar chunks (about 4 Heath bars, chopped)
Cream cheese layer~
8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
3 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
Preheat oven to 350°. Line 9 x 13 baking pan with butter aluminum foil and spray with Pam.
Combine the butter and chocolate in microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 60 seconds, then stop and stir. Continue microwaving at 30 second increments, stopping and stirring till chocolate melted and smooth. Set aside.
Beat eggs and sugar, then add chocolate. Gently stir in the flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla. Mix in Heath Bar chunks.
Beat together the cream cheese, butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in the egg, then flour and vanilla. Put half the brownie batter into the pan and top with the cream cheese mixture, followed by the remaining batter. Use a knife to swirl the cream cheese into the brownies.
Bake for 25 minutes...till barely set in the middle. Cool on rack, then store in refrigerator.
