Recipe courtesy of The Mom 100 Cookbook (directions slightly adapted)
1 package (12 ounces) milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 pints strawberries, very dry
Melted white chocolate, optional
Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Melt chocolate in a microwave safe bowl, using 30 second increments and stirring frequently.
Using the stem as a handle, quickly dip the strawberries into the melted chocolate, tilting the bowl so that 2/3-3/4 of the berry is immersed. Let the excess drip off. Place the dipped strawberries on the prepared baking sheet.
To drizzle the white chocolate, use a fork and work with a back and forth motion. Or, alternatively, place melted chocolate in a ziplock bag, clip off the end and pipe in a back and forth motion.
