Bacon...about half strip per date
Goat cheese, about 4 ounces
Cream cheese, about 4 ounces
1 teaspoon minced thyme or dill (we used thyme but Mary prefers dill)
Partially cook bacon. Set aside.
Mix equal parts goat cheese and cream cheese. Mix in herb of choice.
Slice open dates and fill with as much cheese mixture as possible. Wrap with bacon and skewer with toothpick. Place on baking sheet and broil till bacon is crisp.
