Glee Club Auditions ·   

Wednesday Sept. 12th 4:00 to 5:30 PM

SING A SELECTION FROM A SONG OF YOUR CHOICE USING THE MICROPHONE, AND BE PREPARED TO SHOW YOUR VOCAL RANGE.

You must bring a signed permission slip in order to have an audition.

Permission slips are located in the music room. 

Bring the permission slip to audition!

 

  The Skinner West Glee Club is open to students in grades 5-8.

Glee Club membership is by-audition, and is limited to 28 members.

 Glee Club rehearses on Wednesdays from 4PM to 5:15PM in the music room.

 Rehearsal attendance is mandatory.




                             
 RECORDER TESTING/TUTORING 

4th - 6th GRADES:

Belt testing is not a requirement for your grade in Music.

ALWAYS GET A PASS from Ms Maatouk to come to the Music Room during your recess/lunch or if you are in Park District or STAR Program after school.

PLAY FOR BELTS or get tutoring

MONDAYS                 12:00 to 12:30PM 

                                    3:45 to 4:45PM

THURSDAYS              3:45 - 4:45PM 

FRIDAYS                     8:15 to 8:45AM        

BE PROMPT.            BE PREPARED.         Sign the waiting list.

BELT REQUIREMENTS for the BLACK BELT AND BEYOND PARTY  for 4TH grade:

To attend the BLACK BELT AND BEYOND PARTY at the end of the school year,  you must have earned a BLACK BELT or higher by June 1.

BELT REQUIREMENTS for the GOLD BELT AND BEYOND PARTY  for 5TH grade:

To attend the GOLD BELT AND BEYOND PARTY at the end of the school year,  you must have earned a GOLD BELT or higher, or if you had a gold belt+ last year, then 2 belts beyond what you had last year by June 1st.
