Salt Lick Peach Cobbler

Serves 8


1 (28 ounce) can sliced peaches, drained
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup flour
1 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup milk, room temperature
1 egg, room temperature

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in a 13 x 9 pan.
2) In medium-sized bowl, combine filling ingredients. Set aside.
3) In medium-sized bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in egg and milk. Pour evenly over melted butter.
4) Spread filling over batter. DO NOT STIR! Bake 30-40 minutes or until batter comes to the top of the pan and is golden brown. Let sit for 20 minutes to set. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
