Feel the snow in your hand

If you share the same ski passion as many of us do and you live near or plan a trip to Banat feel free to enjoy beautifull mountains of Semenic and Muntelemic.

Driving about 20 km from Resita to Semenic there is probably the best ski facility near village Valiug: Double chair lift powered with snow cannons, night ski facility, superb cafee offering day and night events. All in one, provided by Casa Baraj. Accomodation: Gasthof Tirol, Hotel Aquaris.

Another 20km for Valiug you can reach the top of Semenic at about 1500 meters. There are two more t-bar lifts and good slopes. Accomodation recommended is at Dusan's hotel.

Beautiful Brebu Nou and Garana villages are few kilometers away and offers some new slopes suitable for children and beginners: Wolfsberg Ski. You can find good hospitality there. 

About 30 min drive from Caran Sebes road takes you to the slopes of Muntele Mic. Glacier-like top of the mountain is a must for visiting!  Ski resort: Muntelemiconline , Weski.ro .
