The Liberty Helix Ski doesn't care which coast you live on, what you like to ski, or how you like to ski it; it loves the pow, but it also loves crud, ice, or slop. This ski floats and maneuvers well almost anywhere, giving you the lively playful pop that will remind you why you started loving skiing in the first place. The mid-fat 105mm waist provides a stable, predictable platform for blasting through crud or floating over powder, and it gives you plenty of real estate to land on when you punt that little cliff under the lift. Often, all-mountain skis give up torsional rigidity to achieve versatility, but the Helix is beast of a different breed. ABS sidewall construction and a lightweight but stiff and snappy bamboo laminate core ensures that you can drive this ski hard and it'll hang with you right to the bitter end. Liberty also laid the stiff, lively bamboo and poplar core up with triaxial fiberglass and carbon fiber laminates, so this year's Helix is even poppier and more powerful than in years past.

Close your eyes and pull any ski off the rack, and chances are good it's going to be rockered. The Helix is no different, and while it's not fully rockered, Liberty's Stealth Rocker profile uses a longer rocker profile at the tip, traditional camber directly underfoot, and lower rocker at the tail to combine hard snow and pow performance. You can charge, pivot, and slarve a high-speed turn or two to dump some speed at the choke of a chute, and then float your way all the way to the exit. Who wouldn't want easier turn entry and a little extra buoyancy on a particular deep day?
