My name is Afua Ohene-Nyako, and I am a SJSU and BSA alumni.

I wanted to bring the SJSU MPDM to your attention. If you have students in BSA who are contemplating working in the biotechnology/biopharmaceutical industry, aiming for medical school but want to get an MS and work a bit before then, or just interested in Master's degree to enhance getting a job in the bay area's biotech/biopharma industry,  this is a great program for them!

If you have every wondered how medical devices drugs and medical products go from discovery (in the laboratory) to the general public, this program is for you. You will be trained on how to manage clinical research throughout all the various stages, as well trainig on the various laws and regulations and interacting with the FDA as well as other international regulatory bodies.

If you have any students who are interested please direct them to the program website at...

The program Director's name is Tonja Green, she is located in Duncan Hall, and can be contacted at 408-924-4853

I am contacting you because this program has been very beneficial to me and I believe it will benefit a lot of your graduating students as well. The success rate of this program is very impressive (see website) and I can speak to that from personal experience. I got a job working at Abbott before I graduated from the progam.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions.

Thank you for your time.

Kind Regards,
