5/20/2018  Thank you to everyone who made our home meet a huge success!  Results from our home meet are posted on the results page and school records have been updated.  Our next meet is on Thursday at Beloit College.  

5/11/2018  The SJV Invite has been cancelled for tomorrow.  There is no make up date for the meet.  

5/10/2018  Congratulations to all of our athletes for their fine performances over the past few weeks.  Our Boys and Girls placed 4th out of 8 teams at the St. Williams Relays, and our 6th-8th graders had many top place finishes at Fort Atkinson Middle School's meet last night.  Keep up the great work Carpenters!

4/18/2018  The St. Kate's Invitational on Saturday, April 28th has been cancelled due to facility conditions from the snow.  There is no scheduled makeup date for this meet.  Also remember our scrimmage against the Middle School has been moved Wednesday, April 25th from 3:30-5:30 at the Fort Atkinson Middle School.

4/3/2018  All after school activities including track practice has been cancelled due to freezing rain.

4-30-17 Track information for upcoming week

This Tuesday is practice for 4th-8th grade @ St. Joe's.  On Thursday, 4th-5th grade will have practice at St. Joe's from 3-4:00pm and the 6th-8th grade will compete @ Fort Atkinson High School.  Field events begin at 4:00pm, running events @ 4:30.  Please plan to be at the track by 3:30 for warm-ups.  On Saturday, May 6th the 4th-8th grade will compete @ Monterey Stadium in Janesville.  Field events begin at 9:30 am, and running events begin at 11:00 am.  Please plan to be at the meet by 9:00am for warm-ups. 

4-22-17  Track Information for upcoming week

This Tuesday and Thursday will be track practice from 3:00-4:30 as normal.  On Saturday we have a meet in Beaver Dam at the high school.  Field events start at 9 am, with running events starting at 10 am.  We need to be at the meet by 8:30 am.  I will be finding out what events athletes want to compete in this week. 

Last week we had a great scrimmage against Fort Atkinson Middle School.  We had numerous unofficial records being set at the practice meet!  Great work St. Joe's! 

4-16-17 Track information for this week


This week we have practice as usual tomorrow at St. Joe's from 3:00-4:30.

Wednesday we have a scrimmage meet at Fort Atkinson Middle School starting around 3:30. The bus will be dropping off track athletes at the Middle School for the meet after the opera field trip. The Middle School has a locker room our athletes can use to change. Therefore, please have your child bring their track gear with them on the bus for the field trip. I will be meeting them at the Middle School drop off to walk them to the locker rooms.  The 4th graders are NOT attending the Opera, so they will need a ride from St. Joe's to the middle school. The weather looks to be rainy, meet cancellations will be posted on the website and emailed.

The scrimmage meet does not record times. Athletes will be given their times and marks as they finish. This meet is open to 4th-8th grade students. We NEED help timing, raking, and measuring at this meet. If you can help, please let me know by email so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!


In addition, there will be no practice for 6th-8th graders on Thursday this week. The 4th & 5th graders will have practice from 3-4:30.

Track & Field Awards





Track & Field starts Tuesday, April 4th.  Please turn in your forms to the office by March 20th.  Forms can be found on this site and in the school office.

The banquet has been moved to Sunday, June 26th from 4-5pm in the parish hall.  Hope to see all of you there!

The track and field banquet is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, June 12th @ 4pm.  Just a reminder that in the event of inclement weather, all cancellations will be posted to the track website and emailed out no later than 1 hour prior to the event.  We do have the possibility of severe weather this Friday.

St. Joe's will be competing in the St. John's Invite Saturday May 14th @ Monterey Stadium in Janesville.  The field events will begin at 9 am and the running events will begin at 11 am.  This meet is open to 4th-8th grade athletes.

Meet Results Posted

The 6th-8th graders are competing in a meet tonight at Fort Atkinson High School from 4-7pm.  The 4th-5th grade has practice at St. Joe's from 3:05-4:15 with Coach Theriault.  Saturday the 4th-8th grade will be competing in a relay invite at Monterey Stadium in Janesville, WI from 9am-2pm.

The meet today is canceled due to cold temperatures and high winds.  The meet is rescheduled for Thursday, May 5th.  St. Joe's will have practice tonight after school from 3:05-4:15.

4-15-16
St. Joe's will be competing in a relay meet @ Monterey Stadium, in Janesville May 7th.  The meet will begin at 9:30 am with field events.  The running events will start at 11:00am.  All 4th-8th grade athletes should be their by 9 am for warm-ups.  Please let Mr. Stafford know asap if your child will NOT be at the meet for any reason OR needs a ride to the meet.  It is very important to the success of the relay teams that we have time to plan the lineups. - Thank you!

St. Joe's will be competing in a scrimmage against Fort Middle School at Fort Middle School track on Wednesday 4/13 this week.  The meet will take place between 3:30-5:30pm.  This meet will not have official times or scores, but we will be telling athletes what they had for times/marks.  Volunteers are needed to help run the throwing events.  Please contact Mr. Stafford if you can help out.  Please remember to have your child(ren) dress warmer than you think for these April meets, the temperatures can be much colder in the evenings on the track.  Cancellations will be posted on this site and emailed to parents no later than 1 hour prior to any meets or practices.

Our 1st track practice will be the first Tuesday in April from 3:05-4:15 after school @ St. Joe's.

Our Track & Field Meeting is tonight in conference room 1 from 3:15-3:45pm.  The meeting will contain information about the program and those who have never participated are highly encouraged to attend.  However, if you can not attend please see the highlighted information.

*Events 100m, 200m 100m Hurdles, 400m, 800m, 1600m, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put, Discus, 4x100m relay, 4x200m relay, 4x400m relay, Medley relays

*Divisions:  Girls A (7th/8th Grade, some 6th)  Girls B (6th, 5th, 4th)   Boys A  & Boys B (same grade setup as girls)

*Awards:  Ribbons in most meets for each division race for 1st-6th place,  trophies for 1st place team division winners.

*Who can participate?  Anyone who is enrolled at St. Joe's in 4th-8th grade and meets academic eligibility, anyone 4th-8th grade enrolled in St. Joe's religious education program, anyone in 4th-8th grade that is a parish member.

*Practices will be from 3:05-4:15pm @ St. Joe's on Tuesdays and Thursdays, unless otherwise scheduled on the calendar, found on this site.

*Meets will be posted on the calendar, the first meet is a scrimmage at Fort Middle School on Wednesday, April 13th.

*Cancellations will be emailed and posted on this site no later than 1 hour prior to any event.

*All orders are due by March 14th.  They can be found on this site.  YOU MUST ORDER T-SHIRTS OR HOODIES ONLINE FROM THIS SITE!  WE USE THE T-SHIRT'S FOR MEET UNIFORMS.  THE $30 REGISTRATION FEE COVERS THE COST OF THE ATHLETE T-SHIRT.  FAMILIES CAN ORDER MORE SHIRTS FOR $10.00 AND HOODIES ARE $25.00. ALL PAYMENTS ARE TO BE TURNED INTO THE SCHOOL OFFICE.

*Any athlete that has not competed in a sport or has not had a physical examination within the past 2 years needs to have a physical performed by a licensed physician.  The form that has to be filled out can be printed from this site.  Otherwise, the alternate physical examination form can be printed from this site.  These need to be turned in to the school office before the 1st practice April 5th.

*Home Meet May 21st @ Fort Atkinson High School is a volunteer run event.  It takes a lot of help to make it work, all athlete parents are expected to help out at the meet, or find someone in their place, if they can not attend.  Without everyone helping the meet can not be held.  Each and every family counts towards making it function, and is detrimental to it's success.
