Welcome to the Multiscale Mechanics & Energy Modeling Lab at Dongguk University
Our research aims to understand the fundamental physics and mechanisms governing the mechanical behavior of materials through multiscale computational modeling and simulations. We apply this knowledge to a wide range of engineering problems in energy, materials, and manufacturing, with particular interests in battery materials, computational mechanics, and advanced material modeling.
본 연구실에서는 분자동역학(MD), 유한요소해석(FEM) 등 다중스케일 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 활용하여 재료의 기계적 거동을 지배하는 기본 물리와 메커니즘을 이해하고, 이를 바탕으로 에너지, 재료 및 제조 분야의 다양한 공학 문제에 적용하는 연구를 수행하고 있습니다.
