The St. Joseph Island Hunters and Anglers Association (SJIHAA) is a non-profit incorporation, founded in 1982, dedicated to wildlife conservation as well as promoting and providing educational opportunities relating to conservation to all interested parties. We currently offer various programs directly related to enhancing existing habitats through reintroduction of, and maintainance of, distinct species of wildlife and fish within the District of Algoma. The SJIHAA is the largest organization representing hunters and anglers in the District of Algoma.  The club holds a monthly meeting which is open to the public on the second Thursday of each month from September through to May.  The meetings are held at the Algoma Conservation Centre located on the 20th Side Road on St. Joseph Island (see Contact Us page for directions).
