Girl Scout Fabrics

In 2009 The Girl Scouts USA licensed Robert Kaufman Fabrics to produce a collection of fabrics in conjunction with the Boy Scouts of America collection.  The GS has both cottons and flannels available, 26 fabric-prints in all.

There is a new collection of Vintage Girl Scout fabrics that has just been released (8/1/10), these are shown at the bottom of the page.

The Boy Scouts of America also licensed a fabric collection, some of the patterns below were done with that line, nothing says that they won't look just as neat in GS green.

According to my search at robertkaufman.com the only quilt shop carrying the GS line within 100 miles is Lone Star Quiltworks 4301 S. Texas Avenue, Bryan, TX 77801 Phone: (979) 595-1072  http://www.lonestarquiltworks.comm.  There are only 5 in the entire state listed!! - 1 Bryan, 2 San Antonio, 1 New Braunfels & 1 Waco.   There are 33 shops within 100 miles that carry Robert Kaufman, maybe we can encourage some of them to add the line to their inventories.   (NOTE: I've found a few bolts of the 1st collection at Quiltworks on HWY 290 at Skinner Rd & found a Pink cookie at Buttons n Bows at Memorial and Kirkwood)

If you know a shop that is carrying the Girl Scout Collections please let us know here.  Thanks!
