I live in the Franklin High School neighborhood, and I have an 11 year old daughter who is enrolled at Sunnyside Environmental School. I have been teaching at Franklin High for 16 years.

I graduated from Reed College with a B.A. in English, from S.U.N.Y. Buffalo with a J.D. and from Lewis & Clark College with an M.A.T. I am endorsed in Language Arts and Social Studies and Education Media. When not in my classroom, I can be found in the Franklin Library.

I drink large glasses of tea, am fond of those who make me laugh and share their music, prefer pie over cake, and like my cookies with nuts. And of course, I love to read.
