I have the pleasure of over 20 years of experience developing advanced nanotechnologies in topics of micro/nanofabrication, bio-interfaces, nanooptics and functional integration of engineered nanostructures within optical and electronic devices including light emitting diodes, flash memories, plasmonic devices and nanobiosensors. I have enjoyed many years working within technology development environments, actively leading research and development with a mission of translating basic research to practical settings. I have experience in growing vibrant, multidisciplinary, multicultural, and gender-balanced research teams with a multifaceted focus on research, business, and people management. I currently drive strategic research efforts directed at engineering material interfaces at the molecular level, including tools, techniques, and processes emphasizing scalable, high-throughput nanofabrication, nanometrology and process automation for applications spanning electronics to biomedicine.
