Grape Jelly Meatballs, EAK's (draft)

You can also substitute precooked little smokies / cocktail sausages for the meatballs. Others may refer to this dish as "Sweet and Sour Meatballs."

1 (10-oz) jar Welch's Grape Jelly
1 (12-oz) jar Heinz Chili Sauce
2-lbs frozen meatballs (approximately 26 pieces)
Juice from one lemon

Directions
Do you melt first and then go to crock-pot?
Into a medium microwave-safe bowl, add the jelly and chili sauce and warm the mixture in a microwave oven until melted and smooth.

Apply light coating of cooking spray to the inside of a 3- to 4-quart crock-pot.

Once the jelly has melted,  pour the mixture into the crock-pot turned to the Low setting. Add meatballs and stir to coat.

Cover and cook until the meat balls are warmed through, about two (2) hours on the High setting, or on the Low setting for about four (4) hours.

Serve on toothpicks as an appetizer or over rice as a main dish.

...or do you prepare stovetop?
Heat chili sauce and jelly in large saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until heated through.

Stir in meatballs until coated. Simmer uncovered 30 minutes. Then, serve in a slow cooker, or on a platter with toothpicks, or over rice.
