South Interlake Seniors
Resource Council, Inc.

This program offers services for seniors, and those with disabilities, to help them remain independent, safe and comfortable in their own homes and communities. These services are available with the help of volunteers and fee-for-service workers and are provided to people who live in the Town of Stonewall and the R.M.s of Rosser, Woodlands and the southern portion of Rockwood. A Board of Directors, consisting of members from the communities and areas served, give direction to the Coordinators who are responsible for the planning, implementation, evaluation and administration of services.

Volunteers

Programs offered through S.I.S.R.C. are run on VOLUNTEER POWER! All volunteers are required to complete a criminal record check and provide references. They are also provided training for the specific volunteer duty that they are interested in. We are always looking for volunteers to assist us with Driving, Friendly Visiting, Telechek, Income Tax Preparation and Administrative and Program assistance. If you wish to share your time and skills to assist us, please call or drop into the office. Any amount of time that you could spare is greatly appreciated.

Fee-For-Service Workers

Our HOUSECLEAING & HANDY HELPER PROGRAM is available through reliable housecleaners, yard maintainers and trades people. These individuals are required to complete a criminal record check and are usually referred by a satisfied client. If you need assistance please call the office.
