Re-certification Details

Despite a rather high turnout, several of you were unable to attend last night's 2017 ENY Soccer Referee Re-certification event or had incomplete paperwork at our October meeting and are still interested in Re-certifying for 2017. Here are your options:

Option 1. SISRA has decided to host a 2017 ENY Soccer Referee Re-certification event at the November 8 meeting at 7:30 p.m. SISRA will not host any other sessions for 2017 Re-Certification (i.e. - you will not be able to register on SI after this date and will have to register as per Option 2 or 3). You will need to bring 1) 2 completed copies of your 2017 USSF registration form, (2) Printed proof of your completed updated risk management if over 18 years of age, (3) a check payable to SISRA for the appropriate payment, (4) Proof of completing the annual re-certification test. The payment for 2017 ENY Soccer Referee Re-certification is as follows:

SISRA Members (those becoming/remaining SISRA members for 2017)

Grade 8 - $115.00 ($65 ENY Re-certification Fee, $50 SISRA Membership Dues, Facility Fee Waived)

Grade 7 - $120.00 ($70 ENY Re-certification Fee, $50 SISRA Membership Dues, Facility Fee Waived)

Grade 11, 13 and 15 - $150.00 ($100 ENY Re-certification Fee, $50 SISRA Membership Dues, Facility Fee Waived)

Non-SISRA Members (those not becoming/remaining SISRA members for 2017 and completing the 2017 ENY Soccer Referee Re-certification at the SISRA hosted 2017 ENY Soccer Referee Re-certification event of October 11, 2016)

Grade 8 - $130.00 ($65 ENY Re-certification Fee, $65 Facility fee)

Grade 7 - $135.00 ($70 ENY Re-certification Fee, $65 Facility fee)

Grade 11, 13 and 15 - $165.00 ($100 ENY Re-certification Fee, $65 Facility fee)

*Facility Fee Waived for registrants that is a member in good standing of another soccer referee association whose members primarily referee USSF sanctioned soccer matches in Eastern New York.

Option 2. Attend one of the other 2017 ENY Soccer Referee Re-certification events held throughout the state. Information can be found at http://www.eny-soccer-referees.org/courses.html. If you attend one of these events and wish to be a member of SISRA for 2017, please mail a copy of your registration form, Risk Management, Passing Test Score, and your SISRA membership payment of $50.00 to SISRA, PO Box 120042, Staten Island, NY 10312.

Option 3. FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS WHO ARE FULL TIME STUDENTS AT A SCHOOL MORE THAN 50 MILES FROM HOME ONLY (Available only for SISRA members) - You may register by mailing (1) 2 completed copies of your 2017 USSF registration form, (2) Printed proof of your completed updated risk management if over 18 years of age, (3) a check payable to SISRA for the appropriate payment - Grade 8 $90, Grade 7 - $95 (these rates include a discounted $25.00 SISRA membership fee for those who qualify for this form of registration), (4) Proof of completing the annual re-certification test (see note below), (5) Name and location of your college and proof of full time student status, and (6) a self-addressed stamped envelope. Mail must be received by SISRA no later than November 8, 2016 - that means you need to have it in the mail 3-5 days before the 8th. Mail is to be sent to SISRA, PO Box 120042, Staten Island, NY 10312. (Only USPS mail accepted - no FedEx or UPS). Kindly email sisraboard@gmail.com if registering by this method.

Please note that, in the past ENY has charged an additional late fee for anyone seeking to Re-Certify after the date of the final posted Re-Certification event. In addition, SISRA reserves the right to charge a late fee or refuse to process any Re-Certifications submitted after November 8, 2016.
