The Sirens of Simmons College~ Enchanting You one performance at a time...
The Simmons Sirens started in 1989 when a group of music-loving Simmons
students founded the Sirens. They chose the name with the mysterious
creatures of mythology in mind. Unlike our mythological counterparts,
our singing won't harm listeners, though we always aim to mesmerize our
audiences!
The Sirens generally consists of 12 women, who practice twice a week
for 3 hours. We have two big concerts a semester, and try to be
available as a guest
group for other a Capella groups whenever we can. We work hard
throughout the school year, but we also make sure we have plenty of
time to being goofy and singing our hearts out.

The Sirens record our own CD's for the enjoyment of the Simmons Community and the general public, and will soon have a brand new CD coming out called "How Awkward..."!
This semester we are most fortunate to have a fantastic group of
women who love singing, blending, bonding as good friends, and striving
for better, even when our performance seems unstoppable. Always
friendly and upbeat, The Sirens will be sure to win you over with our
melodic sound and our engaging facade. If you'd like to hear us, feel
free to come to a concert or event open to the public, or you can visit
us online to hear our sound at http://myspace.com/simmonssirens .
