Frequent Asked Question

Training SimStudent
Q1: Oops!  I've made a mistake in a demonstration!  What should I do?
A: The answer depends on what kind of mistake you've made.

If you just input something wrong, don't get panicked. If you haven't edited the Skill Name yet, you can just "delete" the state in the Behavior Graph.

If you have already edited the Skill Name, then sorry for telling this, but you must start over the demonstration from the very beginning -- meaning, open a new graph, create a new start state, and demonstrate the solution.

If you were inconsistent in the order of specifying Focus of Attention, then you may or may not have to start over the demonstration.

If the Simulated Student is running in the mode where the order of focus of attention does not matter (this is the default mode), then you can just go ahead.  The Simulated Student would find an appropriate combination of Focus of Attention.

If the Simulated Student is running in the mode where the order of Focus of Attention matters (you must have specified this with a command line argument "-ssNoAutoOrderFOA"), then you must start over.
