Fruit Salsa and Baked Cinnamon Sugar Chips

Fruit Salsa:

1 kiwi, peeled and finely diced

1 Asian pear {also called apple pear}, finely diced

8-10 strawberries, hulled and finely diced

1/4 cup raspberries, roughly chopped

1 tablespoon preserves (use your favorite)

 
Combine all of the prepared fruit into a medium bowl and mix in the preserves. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve!
 
Cinnamon-Sugar Chips:

2-4 whole wheat pitas, or flour tortilla shells

2 tablepoon butter

2 tablespoons of sugar

3/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
 
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine the cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl. Spread the pitas or tortillas with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar on both sides, cut into strips or triangles and place onto a baking sheet. Working in batches bake them for 6-8 minutes turning half way through, until golden and crispy! Serve with chilled  fruit salsa :)
