Simple Goodness, the name suggested by my youngest 9 year old son, and overwhelmingly approved by the rest of my family, is a Homestead Business.  There is no Store Front.  All of my goods are made by me, from scratch, in my licensed kitchen.

The recipes are my own, developed by me over decades of cooking for family gatherings and holidays.  At the age of 12, watching my mother, of Middle Eastern heritage make her famous Baklava for over 2 years, she finally gifted me with allowing me to make my own tray.  35 years later, the recipe hasn’t changed, and the Baklava is just simply – ‘The Best’.

I only use the freshest & finest ingredients.  There are no additives or preservatives.  I only cook and package to order to ensure the freshest, most flavorful experience.

My Vanilla line, including Extracts & Sugars, are made from the highest Grade “A” Madagascar Vanilla Beans.  I provide the Beans themselves for my customers so that they can enjoy the benefits from cooking with the finest ones available. 

I love to collaborate with a variety of country stores, farm stands, small business and customers, often creating something exclusively for their shop with their own wears or to compliment one of their products.   But my passion will always be being face to face with my patrons.  

All my goods are fresh made, my famous scones being baked the morning of special events.  Meeting with everyone, listening to their accolades and feeling the sense of appreciation for the work and quality that I put into everything is what keeps me going.
