My name is Simon Yusuf Enoch (aka Enochson). I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Queensland, Australia. Prior, I worked as a Research Assistant at the Cybersecurity Research Lab. of the University of Canterbury, New Zealand under the supervision of Dr. Dong Seong Kim, where I also received my Ph.D. degree in 2018.
I have published several papers in top international journals and conferences, including ACM Computing Survey, IEEE Access, Elsevier JNCA, Elsevier FGCS, Elsevier Computer & Security, Elsevier Computer Networks, IEEE TrustCom, etc. I have worked with both internal and external colleagues, and this is evident in my publications with various co-authors with different backgrounds. For example, I have worked with the Agency for Defense Development South Korea on the topic Modeling Threats and Defense Activities at the University of Queensland, Australia. I have worked with Qatar Univerity and the US Army Research Lab. on different research topics. I have participated in the project titled Safelite - A Graphical Security Models for the Security Analysis of Enterprise Networks which was funded by the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, etc. My publications are attracting many citations with upward projectiles, as shown on my Google Scholar page, and I expect the numbers to grow in the coming years.
My research interests are in cybersecurity. This include:
Graphical Security modeling and analysis of modern networks (e.g., Cloud, IoT, Maritime vessels' networks, etc.), which includes the Models, Metrics and Measurement.
Automation of Cyber attacks and Countermeasures Generation
Moving Target Defense - (Proactive defense)
Machine Learning: application of machine learning techniques to solve cyber security problems.
Internet of Things Security
Security of Software Defined Networks
Big data analytic for security
