Students will draw a graph to show how diseases spread among a population and write a 2-3 sentence explanation in their lab notebooks.

Students will play a game with tennis balls to represent homeostasis in an organism. They will then answer 3 analysis questions: 1) If the circle of students represents an organism, what does one individual represent? Explain.
2) How does the game relate to homeostasis in an organism?
3) What would happen if one cell does not do its job? Relate your answer to playing the game.
