Warm-Up for groups AI:  What can you do to prevent catching an infectious disease?
Students will draw a graph to show how diseases spread among a population and write a 2-3 sentence explanation in their lab notebooks.
Collect test corrections/reflections
Students will play a game with tennis balls to represent homeostasis in an organism.  They will then answer 3 analysis questions: 1) If the circle of students represents an organism, what does one individual represent?  Explain.
                    2)  How does the game relate to homeostasis in an organism?
                    3)  What would happen if one cell does not do its job?  Relate your answer to playing the game.
 
Warm-Up for groups BJ, CF and DG:  Would you expect to find the same diseases equally common in different part of the world?  Why or why not?
 
Begin From One to Another activity.  Put vector in your glossary.  Watch 5 minute video on the bubonic plague and answer analysis question #1-5 in your lab notebook from page C-17.
 
NO HOMEWORK!!
