Warm Up for groups DG, EH and AI: How is the human body organized from smallest to largest?
Students will read pages B-15 - B-18 about Living with the Liver and answer #2 and #3 to be turned in during class on a separate sheet of paper.
Students will then get into groups and perform a gallery walk of the human body posters drawn last week in class. They will comment and critique using the 2 stars and a wish method.

Students will learn the path that food takes through the digestive system by learning a short song with hand motions. Then students will break up into groups to complete a lab activity that demonstrates the difference between mechanical and chemical digestion.
