Warm-Up for all classes:  What are the different types of plate boundaries?

Go over plate boundaries and view simulations on them.
Begin setting up notebook for the LAST activity on plate tectonics, Convection Currents.

HOMEWORK: Continue working on the study guide for your test on Thursday.

Students will begin making a foldable about the 3 different plate boundaries.  The foldable should have the name of the boundary and a picture on the outside and then on the inside, it should include the direction of movement, an example of the boundary and what landforms or processes could be created by it.

HOMEWORK:  Continue working on the study guide for the test on Thursday.
            Complete the foldable if you did not finish during class time.

Warm Up for ALL classes - Compare/contrast the theory of continental drift with the theory of plate tectonics.

Students will complete the procedure steps on pages D-38-D40 on the world map insert in lab notebooks.  Students will then complete analysis questions #1-3 in complete sentences in notebooks and go back to the anticipation guide to fill in the after column.

HOMEWORK:  Whatever you did not complete during class is to be finished for homework.
