The female sandhill crane (installed in our front door) looks up admiringly at the male (installed four feet above her at the stairwell landing). He dances to impress her.
The background behind the female represents water, with foothills in the distance. Behind the male are foothills then mountains below the swirling air.
Each panel is 22" wide by 64" long, the size of a "full lite" in an exterior door. They are located at the street entrance of our home at the end of Bonanza Avenue in downtown Homer, Alaska. Feel free to knock on the door and view them from the inside, so you can see them with the light coming through.
