Heavens Bread for the Day

Heavens Bread for the Day

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Psalms 23:5

God makes ready beforehand for a specific purpose in time, as for an event in ones favor an occasion that brings forth an anointing of one’s good fruit it overflows like milk and honey in the presence of those who wonder?

Oh yeah friend, get ready for that meal for it has the elements of heavens tailgate an ingredient of ones obedience that is pleasing to the one who loves you.

Its music to God’s ears as you prepare to be wined and dined in faith and family. An aroma is arising from God's nostrils of his pleasing that a Nation has chosen to praise him in his coming within the Raider faithful.

A Nation's cup will overflow at the O.co Coliseum on October 6, 2013. In the presence of his grand courts those who come to play will find the field of dreams in the midst of Black Sunday.

Psalms 100:4 enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:5.

He lit up Jeremiah’s world in his distress as He does for us today Go
d means everything He says. He is the one comforts with such Fatherly compassion in ones troubles in order that we may comfort others.

By His graceful spirit He declares His word of promise and though you cannot see Him now you’re not standing alone even when you feel apart know that He knows you by name.

For a man or woman who bears His name, and who claims to be His has been set apart in the appointed time for you have been blessed beyond measure before time itself to share the good news of His love throughout your surroundings.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

Psalms 30:5 Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.

The Lord knows when ones heart is troubled; he knows we will stand in a gentle spirit of heart when our tears dry within the morning dew; he knows that we could not weep but now we can see through our tears.

Though our weeping is not the same as ones tears a spiritual and psychical bending towards the Lord is exposed in our evening distress, although it takes our whole being to weep and when it's over you feel like you don't have anything left to hold you up.

Its in those precious moments of grace we find his word proclaims we should never be ashamed in asking for forgiveness its there we find his hand of comfort throughout our daily walk.

Colossians 1:13-14 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

We can be tired, weary and emotionally distraught, but after spending time alone with God, we find that He sets a table for us to dine before His rest where no situation or evil can inject its discomfort.

Remember there’s one thing that takes place when we find ourselves being still in Christ through the darkest of times, our hearts and souls are energized before His rod and staff in the presence of any problem in our lives.

In His act of action He whispers gently friends, He touches our hearts its with His hand of comfort we find ourselves patiently waiting in the presence of His strength. Its there we find our blessing of the day.

Psalm 23:4-5 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7

To reflect upon your present blessings of which every one of us has many, we find our past misfortunes in thought, of which all men and women have some.

Though, we have to appreciate the manifestation of our own relentless desire to prosper in today’s world when we lose one opportunity we thirst for another, it’s always given in its place unexpectedly as we knock on heavens door.

As you reflect in silence you just can’t help but smile in your expression of joy in awe of God’s promise in a sense of what's true it brings an encouraging grace of faith in ones perspective where taking up His cross every day has paid off.

In ones hunger for ones daily bread you find that you've planted good seed in your obedience to the Lord where an abundance of heavens harvest awaits you more than you could have ever dreamed of...

Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. John 6:35.

Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Most of us are so busy running around trying to make ends meet for our families;
that rest is the last thing on our minds being still, quiet, resting and sleeping is what most refer to as rest.

Though in our call to provide for ourselves and love ones can we really rest well with our daily activities in our constant thought. The Lord tells us He's in control but somehow we forget that promise.

Jesus always whispers daily to every one of us; take up my yoke and learn from Me, what does that mean friend? It simply means to harness one self to His gentle and humble Spirit where we find good rest.

In the practice of His character we find it steers us unto His chosen green pastures in ones heart desires its there we find a good state of mind in heavens rest whether one is awake in awaiting a new season or just simply being humble in His glorious promise of all things.

Galatians 5:22-23 but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer - Romans 12:12

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. James 1:12.

In everybody’s life there’s a point of no return when the sifting of our journey takes us on a heavenly path towards God’s promise. Though the best way out of a storm is not to avoid it.

But rather we are to embrace those problems with the right attitude and then penetrate right through them in the power filled illustration as our good friend Darren McFadden does on any given day as he's called to embrace the armor of choice on the grid Iron, though in the glamour of God's grace and fruit of the Spirit we find the similarity of ones calling of success in Christ.

But one thing is certain when you come out of a season of storms you won’t be the same person who walked in them. Our true happiness is not the absence of problems today; it’s the ability to deal with them in a humble state for tomorrows blessings.

That’s what trials are all about, and when we reach that point of understanding all we can do is quietly accept the fact that we might not see his crowing glory but rather we will find ourselves rejoicing with joy that something is anew within our hearts and souls.

1 Peter 1:8-9 though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

In a Moment of Silence

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

When we find words that become unclear, we focus with our hearts. When images become painful, we find ourselves in silence. In our silence we find it sets the stage for prayer its there we find the source of great strength as a Nation of people under God.

The silence between us and the broken hearted in Newtown Connecticut empowers God as our refuge and strength His Spirit spreads throughout the land like a wild fire, flung wide as an ocean in a moments notice.

Today many of you will attend Church; many of you will go about your passions of Life. But, know this friend wherever you’re at your moment of silence in prayer will wrap its arms around those that are left with such horrible pain.

Its there God’s word comes to Life who is ever-present in our silence for our fellow brothers and sisters somehow He manages to reach their hearts in comfort with the understanding that a Nation of people deeply cares and loves them in their time of great loss.

In ones imagination we find joy within what we’ve created, thou no matter how unimportant it might seem to others?

You know the imaginable opportunity to bless others have come to past. In all you’ve hoped the thoughts of your heart have come to mind in the same Spirit to excite many in their joy for life.

Father God, we are so thankful for the men and women that You have raised up to serve our country with such honor, dignity and commitment in the past and present, in war time and times of peace.

We remember those
who have died to whom we ask you to bless their families and love ones with a peace that’s beyond our human understanding that their measure of service and in death of sacrifice bring remembrance in your promise for the cause of freedom that they will have their tears wiped away on that glorious day.

We ask You to surround those who have passed and those who have survived with your glory of provision for their families needs in your guidance we pray for our country as many continue to serve on the front lines.

The Lords promise: He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. Revelation 21:4.

By ignoring its sufferings we become receptive to the vibration of the message in its trial to abide in the voice of the Spirit and mind.

It’s there at the door of our heart we find the longing in its lost purpose altering for divine healing in direction of our well being we find the understanding that somehow we’ve forgotten we are special in the presence of our Savior.

It's there we see visions from above that brings forth His will; God’s desire is

Ones Inner Peace

The peace of God is within and all around us. We feel it when we share a smile or hug a friend in this inner peace stranger’s benefit. It's there we find our search for victory in the quietness of our struggles blessed in our acts of kindness.

In ones search we find ourselves centered in the one we call Lord, He lightens the load releasing ones tension from within like no other.

To exercise this inner peace we find ourselves in search of life’s beautiful gifts, oh yeah its so sweet what freshness of spirit that dwells within, it’s such a joy to abide in the place of fellowship throughout our surroundings what peaceful love He’s bestowed upon us.

Our good friend RB Taiwan Jones #22 is a testimony to this spiritual inner beauty of joy in a season that has many unanswered questions? Thou in Taiwan’s quest for victory he found himself in quality time with the East Bay Warriors Pop Warner Football team in Oakland. In ones quest we find its the formula for victory in all we do.

Sweet Love

Love for others is such a beautiful experience. What adds to its beauty is the variety of emotions that one goes through when one cherishes their outreach in the Lords love towards the innocence of children.

Our good friend WR Rod Streater #80 who spent time with students of Easter Seals Kaleidoscope in Dublin California illustrates how God is suddenly viewed and understood.

Unconditional love in its purest form trains a child in the way they should go, its then we find our fellowship with young people a life time experience that is everlasting.

Taking the Path to Glory

When we take the wrong path, something deep inside every one of us feels twisted. There are times when that will be the only way to know the right from the wrong that has been done.

To be mindful in ones awareness that it’s our conscious rooted in the Spirit of the Lord ought to be a blessings within in the Lords grace the presence of our old nature stands convicted beyond the mercies of His love.

Listening To Others

Too often we underestimate the power of listening, a smile, a kind word, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of simply caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

Most people do not listen with
the intent to understand instructions in guidance of others; we listen with the intent to reply centering ourselves in one’s concerns, but if we listen expectantly and patiently to the inner voice of response we find the Divine nature of God.

Our hearts and minds are lifted to new heights of spiritual understanding and awareness. In the Silence of listening, God speaks to us of Truth to understand others in this glory of playing calling in life’s journey or in the games we play one's advice far achieves our natural response.

We soon become receptive in our awareness to the spirit of the Lord within who not only comforts others but causes such growth within to become all we can be in Christ.

The Lord whispers to every one of us daily: Listen to me; be silent, and I will teach you wisdom. Job 33:33

Super Natural Forgiveness

One of the secrets of a long and fruitful life is to forgive everybody, and everything that brought frustration in Life’s journey the painful process we find in the Lord’s call to forgive is a super natural feat in itself.

Is there an easy road? Were told to simply bare down within and forgive but does that really work, in our awareness we soon find its process a journey in itself forgiveness will not change the past, but it does enlarge your heart with the understanding that the Holy Spirit works in such beauty where your memories will never, and I mean never vaporize into thin air?

God created humanity with such gifts a mind with magnetic power of remembrances to say I don’t want to think about the past can be unfruitful in the process of forgiveness.

God’s precious fruit of the Spirit gives us that power where we find the Holy Spirit at work He peels off and removes those emotions but not the memory of it from the past that have hindered every one of us. So what’s God’s purpose?

God’s secret gift of forgiveness simply glorifies Jesus Christ who understands the heart of humanity, Jesus Christ since Calvary has forgiven, and forgiven, and forgiven… get the picture friend? He does not let His emotions get the way of forgiveness we as sons and daughters of God are simply empowered by His hand in practice of word.

Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?" Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times .Matthew 18:21-22

Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." And they divided up his clothes by casting lots. Luke 23:24

And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. John 14:16-17

Is There a Perfect Church?

In our fellowship we find ourselves inspired by the Lord’s call to be one in His Divine Love, today we observe our thoughts, feelings and behaviors throughout our surroundings. It reinforces the fact that we are not to forsake fellowship.

Many throughout the land have been carrying frustration towards the church in the drama one sees within the body of Christ. Some might say it’s the reason I don’t attend church? But, to know there is no perfect church in this wild and crazy world of ours.

Is to know we just might find ourselves open to the Lord’s direction in this call for unity; in all honesty a “good” church is made up of imperfect people with a strong desire for God and His Word.

Many in our surroundings are robbed of the Lord’s joy in fellowship; to foster one’s love for the Lord in a private way within is a challenging call for separation to become one in Christ. It is there that many will find they’ve duplicated in partnership as others in the character of an imperfect church.

Our blessing is to focus on Jesus, from that point everything, and I mean everything! Pales in this wild and crazy world of ours! To have fellowship whether it be within four walls or out about in the pleasures of life we find ourselves in the perfect surroundings.

Hebrews 10:25 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Building a Nation for Christ

When we come to a quiet place throughout our surroundings, God fills our minds with mind blowing thoughts, leading us to embrace actions that simply give us an understanding in the joy and peace that builds godly wisdom within the populaces of a Nation its then we find our house is build in the knowledge that He is Who He claims to be.

To be led be the Spirit with divine ideas clarifies any doubt that we are to meditate in Him; in our hopes in the games we play we find our thoughts and prayers are answered in this practice life’s journey becomes just that, a rare but beautiful treasure that leaves others searching for themselves.

Proverbs 24:3-4 By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.

Walking in the Valley

The empty feeling in the path of the Christian life can become a dark place where our soul’s struggle within our thoughts it’s then we find ourselves wrestling with God where the valley seems never ending.

We wonder if God can still see us, at this point this feeling should be our indicator and strength knowing that biblical truth has already laid out God’s promise in Jesus Christ.

Many times, however, God breaks open the depths of these valleys into wide open spaces in which we can discover more about ourselves in the teachings of His word.

These moments of truth reveal parts of us no one has ever seen, to stand and release those characters of old into the wilderness is to walk in the joy of His revelation He is the one who leads us from the valley onto green pastures.

Psalm 23:2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters.

Love? What is It?

Our faith unfolds over time it ponders, it cries out, it rejoicing in its hopes, as we align ourselves to God’s character the unfolding joy and peace flows like no other in time we ponder in thought? Why have I taken so long to know of this love.

In his grace and mercy we find the fruit of victory we find ourselves open to his guidance we give him praise in the unlimited blessings, in this gentle giant of a God we find such kindness, goodness, and love he handles our every need with such care, we soon find that he is our only source within for Life’s promises.

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Hope is Victory

To spend time alone with God can be emotionally joyful in his confirmation of promise or it can be an emotional appeal of forgotten hope in his promise of life on our part, weary and forgotten our souls find themselves dist

But Christ, in his goodness will always find a way to inject his promise into our souls when we are tired, weary and emotionally drained His word of promise somehow energizes and strengthens us in our hopes.

The Lords promise of hope: For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

God’s Kryptonite

How does one fight an invisible opponent? Such thoughts are precious in the scheme of battle, to know your opponent is to have an understanding of why they attack every one of us; it’s simply because they fear the One who lives within. You ask yourself why they would battle the One they fear?

Our adversary the devil has only one purpose to rob, steal, and kill what God has given us in the power of His word in rebirth the choice is ours without wavering in faith we are to speak positive in all circumstances.

When Satan has something to say or desires to bring havoc in our life we quickly find by speaking uplifting godly words is our weaponry of choice God’s word is like Kryptonite it weakens there power and purpose to be steadfast in word on this day we find ourselves blessed in all circumstances.

The Lords promise in Jesus Christ: You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. James 2:19

To be Schooled

A teacher awakens our own expectations, but a teacher who calls us friend affects the landscape of eternity in it we find an everlasting friendship even in adverse conditions we find he stands with us.

The Lord teaches us that when we embrace his voice his influence takes us where no other educational institution can; in it we find the art of living.

To recognize this supreme knowledge is to suggest its great art of teaching. To know his art of teaching we find our spiritual ears constantly are open to instruction, nobody can know God unless God teaches them, and its then we realize rebirth has its eternal purpose.

Teaching is not a lost art, but the regard for it is a lost tradition to allow the teacher to school us like no other can. It's then we find putting an ear to his voice life seems to explode like never before under all the seasons of heavens glory. Should we be amazed? Not at all its where we find God's game plan.

Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand! Matthew 11:15.

No Wavering

In a moment’s time, we pause and focus on the presence of God within. We wonder why so many are sick throughout the land, we calming ask why?

Every one of us has called on His healing hand at one time or another when no other method seemed to work. For many of us new life seems to have silently met at the crossroads of faith, in our hope we find ourselves taking a deep breath as we ponder in His presence.

In our search an awareness comes that we live in a fallen world, thou in it we find the explosive power of grace, love and mercy. In its substance we find the name Jesus Christ like never before we find He builds a fortress of protection of rest and peace within the root of ones sickness whether it’s psychical or spiritual.

To move forward on this day with an understanding that he is the DNA of life is to know one has embraced the inner voice of creation. In his word of promise one finds a deep inner conscience of sense and feel that the Holy Spirit is at work in our request.

It’s where we find Christ ruling over the power of sickness in such intimacy. Our reward and blessings come with the knowledge that we’ve encountered his power of love at the crossroad of promise it’s where wavering dissipates into thin air my friend.

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. Hebrews 11:6.

God’s Ultimate Game Plan

Many of us in our evangelical activities know our work is cut out for us, with such disregard for God; this brokenness of heart is making such an impact throughout our communities that we find ourselves periodically wondering?

How in the world can we pursue this calling? Well, you’re in the right place its where godly wisdom furnishes new and old ideas. Passionately and quietly in thought we open ourselves to divine ideas, it’s where guidance flourishes like never before.

Somehow outreach takes such a supernatural joy as we open ourselves up in this unfolding guidance of the Spirit of Jesus the Father reveals such cleverness in His smooth approach we find every situation breath taking.

As we embrace His plan we find ourselves thirsty for more, and more of God’s game plan of attack in the pursuit of salvation for others. In the beauty of this calling we find the ultimate blue print at the well sparking evangelism like never before.

As we lean on Jesus to give us the answers, many in our path will be left speechless and in awe in God's love for them knowing that they have just had an encounter far beyond their natural understanding.

Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again,  but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.” He told her, “Go, call your husband and come back.”

“I have no husband,” she replied. Jesus said to her, “You are right when you say you have no husband. The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true.” John 4:13-18

The Road to Glory

Everyone encounters difficult times along the road of life. Our response determines how smoothly we will navigate through any challenge. By yielding to the Spirit’s guidance we find our divine choices by acting on the guiding faith that shakes the gates of heavens in its road to glory.

Regardless of where you are on your spiritual path, we find its divine purpose to let go and let God eliminate the hardships of ones journey, to let go and let God steer us towards our purpose is encouraging to other followers in the mist of the great cloud of witnesses in our surroundings.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Hebrews 12:1

God Is On our Side

When we seek the things of God it’s so important to know who or what is pursuing you? Is it a past mistake? Is it our old adversary? Is it your conscience? Is it a nagging sense of guilt?

As we roll through life’s adventure of emotions in the midst of all the storms and struggles of life, where do you go to find peace and security? There is only One who can be a true and lasting refuge. Just One!

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Unwavering Faithfulness

God makes some of the greatest declarations throughout the entire Bible about His grace towards us. Neither distance nor time is too great in this promise His word stands in the glory of time. However, we all know without a doubt Jesus is the richest of all His promises.

Grace is offered to us whether we accept it or not. But, grace is with us in rich abundance and blessing as we follow Jesus and hang on to His love with a grip of faith that is unwavering in the likeness of God Himself. Yes indeed friends God was compelled by Love in this great declaration of faithfulness towards our salvation.

Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love. Ephesians 6:24.

A Family Reunion

"But will God really dwell on earth with men? The heavens, even the highest heavens, cannot contain you. How much less this temple I have built!" 2 Chronicles 6:18

As Solomon dedicated the Temple, he realized that this tremendous accomplishment of great beauty was far too near and insignificant in human understanding to house the Creator of the Universe. But, God did choose to dwell with mortals. Only to give us a prelude of what was coming forth in time.

That is what the life of Jesus is about (John 1:11-18). In all of God’s beauty and greatness which is beyond all human description we find his aweness is too near and holy to be expected to associate with flawed human beings.

But as God, however, has chosen to love us and come and live with us so we could return to him and share in his glory. Many today search for heavens glory throughout the land only to find a family reunion with God and love ones is within. Can we say thank you Jesus on this day, I believe so… have a bless day friends!

Blessed in Jesus

But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted. Romans 6:17

Paul stresses in Romans 6 that obedience to the will of God does not mean we are being forced into the horrors of the laws punishments or manipulated in some type of transforming graceful character of obeying God.

No, obedience is a grace filled liberation from the bondage of sin and the certainty of death in its punishments; its freedom from the haunting memories of sin and its effects; we were created as people like Adam and Eve who were blessed with such promise and freedom, yes we are in blessed on this day thank you Jesus!

Empty Hearts?

May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Galatians 6:14

The shelter of pride what is your source of that pride? Paul reminds us that our one, true, and dependable source of boasting is boasting in what the Lord has done for us on the Cross.

Any other source of boasting embarks us into a structure that has absolutely nothing to do with anything that we have ever attained, or accomplished on our own leaving one with an empty heart of illusion.

All other reasons to boast fall on the building of an insecure character it gives us glimpses of humanities hollow fame compared to the joy and assurance of sharing in Jesus' life, death, and resurrection.

Is Your Mind Buffering?

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.  Ephesians 6:13

Since we are in a spiritual war, many of us seem to forget how and when we are to gear up our spiritual armor. It goes far beyond our daily prayers, and in our scheduled readings of scriptures; we must learn to recognize the spiritual armor God has given us for our spiritual protection and prepare ourselves for spiritual warfare.

We should approach each day, each task, each Scripture, with a sense of awareness our adversary knows our minds are constantly buffering with life’s driven passion in our purpose in our ever changing world. The day of evil will come, to avoid the play dough effect in our minds? We need to be ready to take our stand using the tools God has supplied and the power He provides.

Need Inspiration?

In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Romans 6:11

Just as Jesus died to sin, we also died to sin. But, simply putting aside sin isn't going to keep sin away from us. We then are to embrace the inspirational call for change in Jesus' new life for us comes every moment, with our hearts open to the Lord's exciting will for us.

To let what was, is to die to our past behaviors and actions it’s the old character we are to die too, for He has called us from our sinful nature into a new mindset, and a new behavior pattern inspiring us to focus on the things of God.

Let's live passionately for God with our eyes focused on Jesus, as we get plugged in we find our future alive like never before.

Caring Hands

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. Galatians 6:10.

We are to be a people who do good deeds. That's a very significant part of who we are as followers of Jesus Christ. To let opportunities slip away that God places in our paths we soon find our spiritual gifts gathering dust.

We should never forget what Jesus said; I have come not to be served, but rather to serve. So let's use this heartfelt gift of caring hands to our advantage and bring God glory!

Kingdom Principles

People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. 1Timothy 6:9

This message can be for every one of us who’s hopes is focused on the financial movement of others who are financially rich. No, this is for all of us who want to have that wealth.

Craving it, coveting it, and going in pursuit of earthly wealth expose us to grave patterns that fall within our old character. Let's be reminded of Jesus' words: Seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.

To know, and Understand

Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? Romans 6:3

It’s more than an outward symbol, baptism is a call to the core of the gospel truths what an incredible blessing to be able to do what Jesus did at the beginning of his ministry to please God, and also know that through our faith in God's power to raise him from the dead.

In this understanding we draw a joyful heart from God to do the same for us during this life and the one after, to be joined unto Him is to know this brings glory to His word of promise.

It’s all about Me!

"Be careful not to do your 'acts of righteousness' before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven." Matthew 6:1

Can there be a dark side towards compassion? Only if it’s used for personal glory, just as it is not a private internal emotion. Christian compassion must always motivate us to act in the best interest and for the greater good of those in need, without calling attention to ourselves or our sacrifices.

God provides what we need to bless others and takes care of the reward when our goal is to please him in a humble state and to be used by him to bless others who are in need.

Worlds Apart?

Jesus answered them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." Luke 5:31-32

Jesus was often criticized for deliberately associating with people who were suspect in the eyes of the "religious." There was a reason for his behavior. He wasn't doing this to be popular.

Jesus came to redeem the enslaved, find the lost, mend the broken, and reclaim the sinner. Can Jesus' bodily presence strive for anything less than this today, and still call itself the Body? You’ve got it friend it’s why the world looks at us as if we are from a different world.

Paid in Full

The God of our fathers raised Jesus from the dead -- whom you had killed by hanging him on a tree. Acts 5:30

Peter is making clear that his faith in Jesus didn't just begin with Jesus. It began with the Patriarchs, the great Jewish fathers.

The God who blessed them also raised Jesus from the dead, even though Jesus had been executed in the most heinous and degrading way possible for a faithful Jew, he was nailed to a cross, something that was both illegal and a sign of being cursed under Jewish Law.

He raised Jesus from the dead and exalted him and made him our Savior and our Lord. Can we say paid in full! Praise God the Father!

Stand In Courage

Peter and the other apostles replied: "We must obey God rather than men!" Acts 5:29.

Against a stern warning from the ruling council in Jerusalem, called the Sanhedrin, Peter and the apostles proclaimed Jesus as Lord. They knew that Jesus had triumphed over the attempts of his enemies to extinguish him and his ministry.

The apostles blatantly disobeyed the orders of the very same people who had Jesus crucified. By any standard, in its biblical testimony that is faithful courage. Can we say we’ve accomplished the same in this era? Can we say we’ve prayed for those who persecute us?

The Innocence of a Child’s Heart

The glory of our Nation stands before God in remembrance of those who have defended our call for freedom, in its graceful innocence’s of a child's heart we find the ultimate sacrifice before our eyes, we hear the roar of broken hearts throughout the land in its flowing of tears we find a child’s broken heart.

On this day of remembrance our hearts treasure the tears of a child’s loss, in memory we bow our hearts towards all those families who have lost their love ones in this call to protect and serve.

The heartbeat of our Nation finds the passion of this calling that was made by our founding fathers proclaiming in God We Trust, in our allegiance to God they called this great land the United States of America.

In our remembrance we find the innocence of a child’s broken heart is our ultimate sacrifice, in our loyalty and devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ and one another we find the calling of freedom has been comforted by the innocence that dwells within every one of us in remembrance of our brothers and sisters.

Have a bless Memorial Day friends!

The Power of His Voice

After this, Jesus went out and saw a tax collector by the name of Levi sitting at his tax booth. "Follow me," Jesus said to him, and Levi got up, left everything and followed him. Luke 5:27.

After capturing the hearts of the crowd, Jesus now calls another disciple, Levi (Matthew). Two things are significant about this calling. First, Jesus called someone no other religious leader would have chosen, a tax collector and Roman sympathizer, to any Jew of Jesus' era; Matthew would have seemed very much like a traitor to his heritage and to his faith.

Second, the tax collector followed, leaving behind his livelihood and his fortune. This is a powerful reminder that there is no one we should write off as unreachable with the Gospel and as unusable by our Lord. To follow Jesus is to know that your spiritual being has been rattled by the Power of His voice.

God’s game Plan

I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. John 5:25.

Aren't you glad that not even death can stop us from hearing Jesus' those promised words to us: "RISE!"? We will hear his voice and live with Christ forever!

Know this friends this is the ultimate game plan, it sure puts things in prospective in one’s future plans; what about you? Do you have the X's & 0's of God's game plan in your heart?

Thee Ultimate Weaponry

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Galatians 5:24

When we became Christians, we died to the old person in its lifestyle of choices and were raised up a new person. While we have many of the same battles with temptation, we also now have the power of the resurrection.

The Holy Spirit is constantly at work within us to help us throughout our journey in life’s decisions towards embracing the ultimate lifestyle of choices. Yes indeed we have the greatest weaponry of all in the Lords Spirit of reconciliation Thank you Jesus!

Planting Seed Within

May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:23

We know that true righteousness and holiness are qualities possessed perfectly by only God. Amazingly, God uses his Spirit to make those qualities a growing reality in our lives when we will yield to his guidance.

Every follower of Jesus Christ committed to let the Spirit work on maturing us in our weakest areas by the planting of His word which is the seed from above.

Sometime today, open up God's Word, and read several passages of Scripture that apply to our specific vulnerabilities. Then, let's ask God's Spirit to transform us in these areas to causes growth within to be more like Christ! Sounds like a plan?

Have a bless day Raider Nation!

The Sweetness of Life

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23

Where the Holy Spirit lives, human character is transforming and spiritual fruit can be seen. Certainly this maturity isn't found overnight! It is a process, however, noticeable over the long haul of life. What fruit is the Spirit bearing in your life?

In what ways has every one of us matured? In what areas do we want the Spirit to exercise greater control? Why not take a moment and consciously yield those areas in which you struggle to him now, as we ALL pray?

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21.

Jesus was perfect, spotless, holy, righteous, and clean. Yet he became what he hated, sin. Why would he do such a thing? To expose the evil that no one could ever bare, yes the light of heaven destroyed the chain because Jesus loved us and wanted us to be what He is today, the righteousness of God. In His love we are blessed to become sons and daughters of His glory!

Loving those who have Errored

Remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins. James 5:20

When someone wanders from the path of God, we ought not to take this laying down let's love them right back on their journey. God has given us the tremendous responsibility and blessing of carrying on the work of our Savior, who came to seek and save the lost!

We ought to pray for those who have made an error as they would for us, even more when they've been found guilty, in this call for love we find teamwork covering a multitude of sinful actions.

The Lord Knows

When God’s Word pinpoints things in our lives needing change, perhaps we dwell a bit on our expense habits or gossip about others. God’s Word speaks to these and other matters. He wants us to live lives pleasing to the glory of His promise.

It’s not an easy process to perceive ourselves in the light of God’s Word, but it is necessary and why is that? Well He knows everything before it happens, the Lord’s desire is that we do not struggle in life’s blessings.

The LORD knows our thoughts Psalm 94:11.

Divine Purpose

Just as divine order works in nature; it also works in our lives. Can we be at peace knowing that the glimmer of light that exist within our darkest of choices have its natural plan? Is His creative plan separating us form our bad as the light rises every day within and about our surroundings?

Do we at peace know that our good is now becoming visible? Are we grateful for the divine creative process within? Divine intelligence is at hand God’s divine purpose is revealed in all things. God eternally creates, sustains and re-creates all that is.

Who gives the sun for light by day and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night. Jeremiah 31:35.

Old news is Good News

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 2 Corinthians 5:17

To press the refresh bottom should be in our reach everyday for every Christian! When we come to Christ, he makes us new and he cleanses us of all our sins. Incredibly, this grace can be "new every morning" because of God's faithfulness and transforming power.

God's grace and power are given to us every moment of our lives through His Holy Spirit. We are new and improved, and will continue to be that way until we are completely transformed to be like Jesus! Where the old becomes just that, old news! Thank You Jesus!

To be a flaming Torch

In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16

As followers of Christ, we are not called to isolate ourselves from the culture of the world. We are not called to be hermits or monks?

Instead, we are to recognize that we are in a world of darkness and live as light not as flickering candles tucked away in some closet, but as flaming torches set before humanity so all can see ones light where no darkness of man can be hidden.

Of course, our goal is not to call attention to ourselves, but to help others see the glorious grace of our Father who sent His Son to give us life by the Holy Spirit of heavens glory!

Joy in a desolate World

Be very careful, then, how you live; not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15

Living with urgency doesn't mean living recklessly. It means living with a Christ like lifestyle to honor God and with a joyful passion to make each moment count for the kingdoms glory.

That means we must be intentional about our choices, taking care that we use our moments wisely as we live a life of character in drawing others to Jesus to be different from the world around us is to be dedicated to Jesus in a desolate world.

Confessions of a Sinful Church

Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the LORD God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is.  Amos 5:14

Many illicit and evil groups have claimed to have God on their side. Horrific things have been done under the disguise of Christianity. We don’t have to look far to know evil is everywhere.

Turn on your TV set and listen to what our government is saying or look at the church you’ll find a dysfunctional pattern of humanities fallen nature under the name Jesus, however, the Lord told us we could recognize people by their fruit.

Those who seek good and abhor evil and those who practice justice and mercy are the ones who have God with them. Let's make sure our claim of God's presence is matched by the presence of God's character in our lives!

Confidence of Destination

I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. 1 John 5:13

Don't settle for less!! Confidence is so crucial that God sent his Son to die and be raised so we could know that life is our destination, not just our journey on earth but beyond what lies ahead in our future with the Lord. Have a bless day in you’re search my friends in heavens never ending destination.

Blessing our Spiritual Leaders

Now we ask you, brothers, to respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you.  1 Thessalonians 5:12

What are you doing to bless the lives of your spiritual leaders? Do you pray daily for them? Do you send them notes of encouragement? Do you thank them for their loving attention?

Do you respond to the stern message of grace in obedience and take heart in affirmations of God’s will? Leaders don't need to be followed blindly, but often they get no support for their efforts. To make their work a blessing and not a burden in our lives we find the glimpse of heavens glory within.

But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them that those who love your name may rejoice in you.  Psalm 5:11.

Our hope is in the LORD! He is the basis of our security and the reason for our joyful souls! He is our protection and hope! He is the reason we march forward rejoicing in heavens glory!

Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. This too is meaningless. Eclesiastes 5:10

We have examples throughout our surroundings of those who used their wealth wisely and who generously blessed others and honored God in the process, on the other hand we have those who misused their newly found wealth unwisely.

Many of mans doings in their newly found wealth harbors the gospels truth. Barnabas in Acts 4, see also 2 Cor. 8-9 & 1 Tim. 6:17-18 . But, the New Testament repeatedly warns us about our desire for wealth.

Unrestrained, this desire can become our god and lead us to ruin (1 Tim. 6:9-10). It can become full-fledged idolatry (Col. 3:5). Chasing after wealth is just another vain attempt to make life meaningful.

In the last two verses of Ecclesiastes, the Wise Man reveals where true meaning is found and explains what Paul means when he says, "Godliness with contentment is great wealth." (1 Tim. 6:6).

For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10

God didn't save us to condemn us. No, he saved us so we could come home to him and enjoy his gracious presence for eternity. God wants us in his presence; that's what salvation is all about! He is not about to let anything keep us from that presence when our hearts belong to him!

Do you feel God is watching over every one of us?

God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

God didn't wait till we were "good enough" to bring us his salvation. Instead, he came when we were most lost and needed his grace the most. But then, that's what love really means by God's definition. It's more than something declared or felt, it's something radically demonstrated.

Are you Wearing the Garment of Choice?

Honor is the inner garment of the Soul; before birth we are woven in purpose only to be given the garment of choice at birth, blessed are those who do not separate themselves from this promise.

"Be h
old, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed." Revelation 16:15.

“Keep the Faith”

To Hate is to Lose

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Ephesians 4:30-31

Don't make God's Spirit frown! How do we find ourselves doing that? By harboring bitterness, unleashing anger driven rage, fighting with others and slandering their name while plotting to harm them by our words.

These things are the exact opposite of the qualities the Spirit is seeking to produce and nourish in our lives (Galatians 5:22-23). No wonder it makes Him frown! When the Holy Spirit grieves things just seem to happen for others who Love?

A Child's Hope

But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul. Deuteronomy 4:29

Do you feel someone is watching over you? When was the last time you truly se
arched after God? I'm not talking about an obscure theological insight about God or relying on some inspirational message to get your attention about God.

When was the last time you sought after the Lord in the innocence of a child's heart so that you could know him better and appreciate him more?

To open one's heart and go on this fascistic voyage to find God like the prodigal son in Luke 15, one will find he's been waiting and watching over every one of us to come home.

"Keep the faith"

As we face the daily demands of our lives, and the occasional chaos, remember the peace that lies within, to draw from its strength we find peace as we do for others. Nothing can disturb a heart that’s been nourished by the Spirit of the Lord.

Jesus says... Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and not be afraid. John 14:27

Have a bless day my friends!

Pastor Mando
"Keep the faith"

Do not swerve to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil. Proverbs 4:27

When we see someone swerving in and out of their lanes of traffic, we immediately go into a defensive driving mode. Whether they are drunk, sleepy, or just plain careless in getting to the ball game...? We then find ourselves pondering in thought there’s a dangerous pattern within every one of us in doing things.

God wants us to know the same is true of us when we allow ourselves to wander by every example there is in temptation available. To keep on the straight and narrow path we find joy and peace as we get to our next destination with our eyes firmly fixed on the Lord!

"In your anger do not sin": Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. Ephesians 4:26-27

Pent up anger is an explosion waiting to happen. Sooner or later, the pent up frustration will explode, either in our own life or into the life of someone else. Jesus taught us to forgive and to reconcile (Matthew 18).

Anger must be dealt with. Otherwise the adversary along with our old nature will use it to abuse us as well as others in our lives. Don't give him a foothold in your life. If you give him an inch, he'll take a mile! Lean on Jesus trust in his Spirit of comfort… yes indeed God is good all the time.

To be Number One

The greatest among you will be your servant. Matthew 23:11.

In everything we do we find ourselves taking up our cross, to embrace the cross we find the power of resurrection in God Almighty to be number One we become servants, can you embrace that? If so, consider yourself great in Jesus Christ!

To the world this call seems “Out of this world,” to humble yourself and serve in all situations makes no sense at all? But in truth its how God shakes things up in this world Jesus himself said I’ve come to serve and not be served. Yeah, now it makes sense... we who serve are kings with the King Of Kings!

Have a great day in your service my friend!

Our Praise In Jesus Has Power

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.  John 4:23-24.

God seeks true worshipers. He seeks those who long to praise him authentically and spirit to spirit. To help us in our quest, he gives us his Spirit to help us worship.

But most of all, he wants us to genuinely worship him -- worship him according to his will and with all of our heart. In this practice we find ourselves blessed with a heavenly undertaking that the world has never understood since Jesus said to the Father before ascending to heaven.

I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name--the name you gave me--so that they may be one as we are one. John 17:11.

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds... Ephesians 4:22-23

We are made new when we become Christians. Many of us, however? And this includes yours truly, have moments when the old way of life erupts and wants to make its presence known, we then find this action foolish before the world around us.

Yes, this means that being new is a lifetime decision we must make each day, and not just an occasional attempt towards this new lifestyle as we desire.

As we make that commitment and seek to follow the Lordship of our Savior, the Holy Spirit's power (that Paul talks about all through Ephesians) is promised to us and the Spirit's goal is to mature us to be like Christ. (Eph. 4:12-16; 2 Cor. 3:18).

To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Philippians 4:20.

When was the last time that you prayed and didn't request things from God and you simply thanked and praised him? Why not use today as a day of thanksgiving and praise?

Don't ask for anything; just praise and thank our Father! Praise him for who he is, what he has done, and what he is going to do!

Thank him for blessing you, saving you, and bringing you into his glory! Let today be a day of thanks and praise no matter the situation that's at hand...? Yeah, sure feels good! have a bless day friends and a great weekend!

My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is, formed in you... Galatians 4:19.

What was Paul's goal for the new Christians he worked with? He wanted them to come to full maturity in Christ (see Colossians 1:28-29).

He knew the Holy Spirit would help them in this process if they would focus their hearts on Jesus and seek to reflect Jesus' character in their lives (2 Corinthians 3:18).

So as we go through our daily activities, our goal ought to be this pattern that Paul laid out for the early church – to let Jesus come to life in us, we can only consider ourselves blessed in our journey in life.

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. 1 John 4:18.

Do you remember what Jesus said when he came walking on the water to his disciples during the storm? He literally told them, "Do not fear, I Am." In the presence of the holy and awesome Son of God, we don't have to be afraid.

God's grace to us in Jesus takes away our need for fear because Jesus' sacrifice makes us stable which destroys thoughts of anxiety as we embrace his armor. Yes, we are without fault, and free from any charge against us (Colossians 1:21-22).

Our response should be still in silence. In his grace we take up the armor which is full of love! We love our Father for who he is, for what he has done, for his great sacrifice for us, and most of all for taking away our anxiety and fears in frustration when they overcome us.

No matter when and where it comes those emotions are destroyed when we lean on him, he is the one who bares that grip of punishment. He is that perfect love that destroys the evils of this world whether its in one persons struggle or throughout an entire Nation.

Have a bless day Raider Nation!

Silver And Black Angel Foundation | Facebook

Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins. James 4:17.

Jesus taught this principle when he healed on the Sabbath (Mark 3:1-7) and told the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:29-37). Our Lord made it clear that to neglect to do a good deed for another in need, even if we had a religious excuse for not doing it, was to do evil.

To be a people known for doing good deeds and sharing kindness in love like our good friends at the Silver & Black Foundation, we then find our world being blessed beyond measure.

So for those who hold back in doing good know this let no excuse, especially a religious excuse, interfere with you're glorious and great opportunities to serve others in the name of Christ who is the one who provides all things on any given day.

From him (Christ) the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. Ephesians 4:16

Ephesians and Colossians emphasize that no human being, or even group of human beings, is head of the Church. Jesus is head of the Church. He sets our direction. He is our example. He is our goal for ministry.

In addition, Jesus also arranges us in his Body as he chooses, gives us gifts to use to bless each other and God, and holds us together so that we can effectively serve as his presence in the world. So let's set our hearts on Jesus.

Let's use his life and love to inspire us and show us how to serve. Let's give him our allegiance and loyalty. He alone is head of his Body, the Church. Let's let him lead!

Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers. 1Timothy 4:15-16

"Be diligent!" That's not a phrase we hear much about these days. We want things to come easily. Sweat in the world of pseudo-faith is frowned upon. But, Paul wanted Timothy (and us) to know that maturity in Christ requires genuine effort.

Having a redemptive influence on others is not easy its hard work which requires all the grace that’s given in our diligent growth within towards others.

While it is God's power that transforms, our effort is also required making us the disciple we’ve been called to. God gives us the assurance that this effort will not only bear fruit in our own lives, but it will also lead others to salvation as well.

We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 1 Thessalonians 4:14

As horrible as the Cross was, it wasn't the final chapter of the Lord’s story. Jesus died and then rose again by the power of God Almighty. We can believe two things because of Jesus' resurrection: 1) that Jesus will return in glorious victory for those who have believed in him no matter where your standing at that particular time, and 2) that we will be with those we love who have fallen asleep in Christ when Jesus comes again.

Passion for Praise

Praise the LORD, for he has shown me the wonders of his unfailing love. He kept me safe when my city was under attack. In panic I cried out, "I am cut off from the LORD!" But you heard my cry for mercy and answered my call for help. — Psalm 31:21-22

I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13.

I don't know about you, but I know there are times we find ourselves spoiled because of all the conveniences that we have in this time and age. Could we honor God with our praises and thanksgivings if these conveniences were to suddenly vanish?

I hope so. As followers of Christ we ought to embrace the character and passion of Paul and live with the assurance that we can withstand any situation with the help of Christ.

Prayer for All

With you Oh God, nothing is impossible, thank you Father God! Indeed we can be all that You need us to be for You are the one who redirects our steps by Your Holy Spirit! May every one of you have a bless day in our savior and Lord, Jesus Christ!

God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. Psalm 46:1-2.

Let it be?

If you’ve been speeding around from place to place, task to task, project to project, knowing that with experience of being present in this very moment.

God what’s every one of our thoughts and concerns about what needs to be done… To stay still for a moment relax your body and mind, freeing you to enjoy just being. Yes, we all need this practice daily, to just be!

The benefit from our time of rest is to encourage us to take time every day to lean on his promise. Be quiet. Be still. Be at peace that we may embrace the activities at hand with enthusiasm in his glory.

God’s Promise: Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9.

If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.1 Peter 4:11

We are given gifts to use in God's Kingdom for two reasons: first to bring glory to God, and, second  to bless others. Whether we serve or speak, we are to do so with these two goals in mind, knowing that God will supply the strength to do what he has gifted us to do. In this pattern we find that God causes the growth on those we encounter in our daily journey.

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:10

Love is demonstrated, not just said. Love goes ahead sharing itself instead of waiting until things are easy or safe. Love redeems when all hope seems lost. Love is not only what God is, but it is also what he does and what he gives.

A person with two minds can become unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything?

Are you one to have a compulsive need to find a solution to every problem, and to control everything? Do you always have a back-up plan in case things don't go the way you think they should?

Have you noticed this type of character is overwhelming to those who try to 'fix' things, the more anxiety one experiences? The Bible says, 'The mind of the flesh ...sense and reason... is death...But the mind of the...Spirit is life...' Romans 8:6. It’s the opposite of trusting.

Now God doesn't want us to be mindless, clueless, or helpless, He just wants us to live by faith and not by the knowledge of the world’s standard. When we learn to trust in Jesus and operate in 'the mind of the Spirit,' you experience peace even when you're surrounded by tough circumstances.

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. James 4:7-8

James always packs God's promise in such a simplistic form. Let's focus on the center of this call to holiness: let's draw ourselves closer to God. When we came into God's presence and drew ourselves close to him, we found our thoughts, our motives, and our behaviors were exposed, we found that his light of his holiness and righteousness would soon embrace us to wash our hands of our past character.

At the same time, we know that the devil is forced out by the radiance of our Lord's holy life and love for us. Let's seek after God. Let's long to draw near to him. Let's ask him to cleanse us and make us his treasure and make us completely all that he's called us to be. Have a bless day friends in your search of God's glory!

For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit. 1 Thessalonians 4:7-8

The call to holiness is easy to ignore in a world which lives by much different standards. Satan gets us to compare our lifestyle with those around us, deluding us into devaluing our sins in comparison to others.

But the issue should never be comparing one’s self to non-followers; the issue should always rest with a thankful heart that has been cleansed by the Holy Spirit and saved by grace.

Ignoring, or toning down our walk, is not what God intended the Spirit's call for holiness is rejecting our old ways. Being passionate about holiness in our lives, both because it is what God wants and also because it is what we should seek. We then find the peace we’ve always been in search of… have a bless day friends!

Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father." Galatians 4:6

The first vocalizations of many babies are the syllables "ab, ab, ba, ba." Not surprisingly in Jesus' day, that was the name babies used for their fathers. When God saved us, he gave us his Spirit.

The Holy Spirit blesses us in many ways, but one of the key blessings is his work with us in prayer. He intercedes for us when words become a struggle in our thoughts (Romans 8:26-27) and he helps us approach God with familiarity, dependency, and respect as we call God our Abba  Father who embraces our every need in Jesus Christ his beloved who bore it all! for every one of us. Thank You Jesus!

But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. Galatians 4:4

What a passage full of many thoughts. To bring it to heart so that we can not only read it, we can also believe it. God made history ready for a savior and then sent his Son.

That Son had to deal with all the difficulties of the Law and faced all the issues at hand of being a human. Our Father bought our freedom at the terrible cost of his Son's life on a cross in front of a mob that was jeering and jealous of his popularity.

He did this so that you and I could be his honored children, entitled to all of his wonderful glory and promise. To put it in words can only be heartfelt: God's plan, God's Son, God's ransom, and our glory as children.

Have a bless day friends!

For Monday April 2nd, 2012

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:2-3

Our effort, sweat, and dedication seem to have become the profanity of western Christianity. To our age of grace-abusers, the Holy Spirit reaches out with his truth and reminds us that relationships on earth, even those in Jesus' Church, are going to require a lot of effort, gritty love, personal sacrifice, and rigorous determination.

If we read Jesus' prayer for unity in John 17, how could we not make every effort to keep his Body unified and our relationship with his people loving and patient? Since our salvation was purchased at the cost of Jesus' sweat and blood, how can we balk when our best efforts are required to preserve the unity of his family?

Palm Sunday

Everything we do, we do "in the name of the Lord."

As we enter into Holy Week, many of us vow to make this a holy week in our lives a choice to open our hearts and minds to the Christ we dream of daily. With a quiet spirit, we go about our business. We take time to pray. We practice being still. We practice the presence of God.

Today, on Palm Sunday, as we think upon Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem, we remember how the multitude is said to have greeted him shouting, "Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!"

With every thought we hold in mind, with every prayer of our hearts, we welcome the Lord of our being. Within us dwells the Lord of peace, the Lord of life, the Lord of light. Through the Christ in us, we can do all things. In Christ consciousness, we are blessed.

Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!--Mark 11:9

Have a bless day Raider Nation!
