I'm a research scientist working in the field of soft condensed matter and biophysics.
Soft condensed matter is the physics of all phenomena that happen in materials which are 'soft', like liquid crystals, polymers, granular materials or colloids. In recent years, there has been a surge in interest in these materials due to new experimental techniques which have been developed, like microfluidics. I also work on applying soft matter methods to biological problems, with a focus on cell mechanics both at the microscopic and collective scale.
Currently, I'm a postdoc at Syracuse University. Please have a look at my research pages to see the projects I am working on, as well as past projects.
