Many thanks to:

  • Paula Ivers, former owner of The Granary, for hosting our workshops between 2011 - 2016, until we outgrew the store!  And for donating the student  registration fees for the "Better Bindings" classes to Quilts for Kids.
  • Audrey Vallen, who purchased The Granary in 2017.  We are delighted she continues to support Quilts for Kids with the "Better Bindings" classes.
  • Eddie Leone, owner of The Quilting Bee in Sunnyvale, CA, for hosting our workshops from 2011 - 2017 and donating many of Diana Leone's quilts.
  • Scores of quilters and their families for their finished quilts and fabric donations
  • Numerous individuals who prefer their monetary donations remain anonymous
  • Stuart Rosenberg for his assistance with this web site
  • Northcott Studio and Deborah Edwards, designer of our banner fabric, Old MacDonald, designed expressly for Quilts for Kids, Inc.
  • John Durnell of RJR Fabrics
  • Marissa Nelson for over 20 bolts of beautiful batik fabric
  • Stacy Iest Hsu, local fabric designer who donates her "scraps".  We make quilts with these prints before they are for sale in the quilt shops.
The volunteer quilters below use their talents and specialized quilting machines to stitch intricate patterns on our quilts than are impossible using home sewing machines.   The rapid growth in our output is largely due to them.
