The mission of the Silicon Prairie Invitational is to host an enjoyable, high quality FTC robotics tournament, which brings together teams which excel on the playing field with teams that also embody Gracious Professionalism. We want to celebrate the Block Party! season with a competition focused on the robots and game play. This tournament will give teams a chance to compete at a national style event. We expect a great group of competitive teams to attend! Request InviteCheck in will be late Friday afternoon (with a Chicago Style pizza dinner) and we will have 12 hours of tournament play on Sat. We will end the night with a great party with Laser Tag, Whirlyball, A Climbing Wall and pizza. National Tournament. Teams who demonstrated Gracious Professionalism, had great robots and strong team performance at FTC Qualifying Tournament(s) and FTC Championship Tournament(s), in addition to other team accomplishments, are welcomed. Due to the scope of this event, we will need some help from each team. We are asking each team attending the Invitational to have 1 adult mentor/chaperon volunteer for one 4-6 hour shift during the event but will graciously accept mentors who can cover more than 1 shift. |
