Custom Textures, Logos & Backgrounds

Helmet Live Wallpaper uses textures, which are images laid over the 3d models.  For custom textures you can use any image stored on your device.  You can download an image from the web, or create your own.

For most devices you will need an image that has a size in pixels that are power of 2.  Examples are 32x32, 128x128, 256x256, 512x512, or 1024x1024.  For images that do not have the correct size, use the crop option in the settings.

Texture Creation

To create texture images, you will need an image editing application.  Applications like Photoshop, or GIMP (free!) are good for the job.  Depending on the type of image you want (Background, Helmet, or Logo), create a new file and paint the image you want.

Once you have created an image, transfer it to your device.  Then load the image through the Live Wallpaper settings.

Below is a template for the texture used on the helmet.  Whatever is painted on this side will mirror on to the left side of the helmet.  This works well for logos or helmet designs that are larger than the usual logo space.
